Every Day Carry.
No silly ravers, this is a different EDC. I remember back in Middleschool, I had this really bad obsession with knives. There were knives classified as EDC, aka “Everyday carry, meaning tactical but still small enough to fit in your pocket without taking up the whole damn thing, and I ALWAYS had one on me outside of school. Years later, it’s become a camera. Or rather, MULTIPLE cameras.
A couple times at school I’ve been called hipster, but much more than that I’ve been asked why I always have a camera on me. Only then do I remember that people usually don’t bring a camera around everywhere they go ( I have @chjk to thank for this because of Project 365, and more than that to blame… ). But frankly, I’m glad I got back into photography. Screw what anybody else thinks of me, I don’t shoot this because it’s cool, I shoot because it’s fun. Because it legitimately makes me happy. Because it makes me look forward to go home just to import the day’s shots, and spend around an hour picking through and editing photos I like.
So. Basically. Photography has become a huge part of my life. When I borrowed @chjk’s Xti with the 50mm prime I basically saw invisible frame lines everywhere I looked, just because I was so used to the prime. The invisible frame lines would change depending on the camera I was shooting for the day. It would feel awkward for me to not be holding a camera ( I rarely use the blackrapid strap unless it’s during an actual shoot ). So. Thank you @chjk. But you’re still a jerk for straight up leaving your bro out in the cold.
